I was inspired to create this Solution after trying all the available Digital Notebook Solutions and being unable to get them to work the way i wanted them to. This App, built on the Filemaker Platform, is an easy to use Notebook, searchable Database, Diary, Document Library, Interactive PDF Viewer, Image Viewer, Video Viewer, Music / Audio Player, Web Capturer, Writing Tool, Research Tool, Study Tool, Creative Idea Notebook, Web Browser, Kanban todo list, Calendar Viewer, Contact Manager, Quote and Invoice System, Expense Manager, Personal Organizer (Bills and Paperwork etc) a Project diary and file versioning system, (full instructions in the file help section) and more...runs on Windows / Mac / iPhone / iPad on filemaker go 24 and 25, Compatible with Filemaker 19.5 and also latest version (22.0.4). The file has instructions and guides built in to help get you started.....
When looked at as a longterm investment it works out cheaper than existing Pro subscription based Notebook Solutions for a far superior data organisation tool and your new goto work / creative / personal organiser hub that lives on your machine instead of only in the Cloud. Theses no dangers of Cloud Provider Server / no Sync failures, no constant updates, no unwanted and confusing App interface changes, no subscription cost increases, no parent Companies changing hands etc etc, this is a file that lives on your computer(s),
( preferably in a Dropbox, Googledrive or One Drive folder so its backed up to the cloud !) and its fast to use, like really fast !!!Some other major benefits include that although theres lots of different layouts, each one is like a static content container, you can see for yourself how it works and whether it might be for you by observing the "fly by" video on the right, but you'll find that you always know where you are and how to find your way around. You dont need to have a sort of pre-existing abstract mind map of where your stuff is before you go and try and retrieve it which is what i found with some of the Notebook Solutions out there and i found this cluttered my mind !I used to waste so much time just trying to organise and locate stuff and found the various tagging based search systems to be very hit and miss. In filemaker the accuracy and reliability of the searching and sorting is one of its lynchpins and is outstanding, i simply could not go back to working with a cloud based notebook app with tag based searching after using this solution. It allows me to get ideas out of my mind and lay them out in a containerised way so at a later date i can always retrieve them within seconds and work with them in a layout suited to the task (previewing images, videos, audio, pdfs, web sites all without leaving the platform so no need to jump between 5 or 6 apps, you can do it all in one platform !)You can also use the contact form below to get in touch if you want it customising in any way for your use case.

Before purchasing get a trial for Filemaker hereFilemaker costs either £159 per year on a developer license (includes 3 x Licenses plus a Server License) get it here or £500 to own a Single License outright, get that here and you dont normally need to upgrade for 7 years so 7 years = 84 months, 500 for filemaker app + cost of this file 75 = £575 / 84 months = £6.84 per month
(cost to upgrade the app in 6 - 7 years likely to be £200-250
so monthly investment for the 6-7 years following that will be more like £3 per month !Note
Filemaker Go App for iPad / iPhone is Free so although not quite as nice to use as on a Computer it would obviously be significantly cheaper to run on an iPad
( incidently the file can be shared from a Computer and an iPad can connect to the file on the Computer so both devices can work from 1 x centralised File - full instructions for this are written into the file in the help section )
